My dear father….

I sent you a hand written letter about two weeks ago and i am sad because you never got the chance to read it (the letter arrived two days after your death). Big sis called to inform me  that you are dead, of which i didn’t believe because you promised to visit me next month.

So i want you to wake up from that sleep to read my last letter to you.

Dear father, please wake up and read this special letter…… You might not be able to read the screen shot dad, so i decided to type it for you. Time to wake up, you’ve been sleeping for 8 days now, wake up daddy, wake up!!!

Dear father

I want to start off by saying, thank you for always being there for us. You have not made me go a day without a father in my life and i pray you live to see my children.

Thank you for the love you showed your children, you never allowed anyone to humiliate any of your daughters.

Thank you for working hard so hard so that we can have the good things of life. Thank you for being my daddy, i will forever be grateful.

You continuously encourage me to run after my dreams, yo went extra miles to make sure we have the best education.

I am not sure if i have told you this as much as i should, but i am so thankful to God for given you another chance to life and i want you to cherish every single seconds.

So, thank you for never leaving me (us) alone.

I love you daddy.

Love,

Your daughter,

Olufunmilayo Abidemi Oke
